Richard Doetsch

Chief Executive Officer

Richard Doetsch has 29 years of residential property management experience including both conventional and affordable housing, construction management, and financing. Prior to joining C+C, Mr. Doetsch was the President of WRMC Inc., a national real estate Management and Investment firm. As an affiliate of The Richman Group of Companies he oversaw and increased the company portfolio from 6,200 to 15,500 units throughout the United States with a concentration of properties in Florida, Arizona, Texas, California, and the New York Tri-state area.  Prior to joining WRMC Inc., Mr. Doetsch was a Managing Director of Insignia Residential Group, one of the largest residential property management firms in the country, where he oversaw the management of one hundred and thirty properties; the Construction Management Division and the Developer Consulting Group. Richard was previously the Director of Management of Douglas Elliman Gibbons and Ives in New York City. Mr. Doetsch has a Bachelor of Science degree from Marist College and a Master’s Degree from NYU in Real Estate Investment and Asset Management.

Robert Corso

Chief Operating Officer and Director of Property Management

Robert Corso oversees all operations of the company and leads a team of dedicated managers and support staff. Under his guidance, C+C is responsible for the management of affordable mixed use and mixed income developments, emerging market rate luxury housing and market rate of condominium properties.  Mr Corso has a highly versatile real estate background with 31 years of property management, asset management and real estate finance experience. Prior to joining C+C, Mr. Corso held executive roles with several prominent real estate services organizations. Mr. Corso served as Vice President, Managing Director at Brown Harris Stevens, where he supervised all aspects of property management activity as well as the commercial mortgage advisory group. He also served as a Senior Managing Director for Insignia Residential Group, one of the largest residential property management firms in the country, where he supervised all facets of property and asset management and ran the commercial mortgage advisory group. Mr. Corso also held a senior-level role as a commercial mortgage banker at Deutsche Bank, where he successfully originated financing through Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac loan programs. Mr. Corso graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and also holds an advanced degree from New York University, with a concentration in Real Estate Investment and Credit Analysis. Mr. Corso is a licensed New York State Real Estate Broker and a Member of Real Estate Board of New York, Rent Stabilization Association and New York State Association for Affordable Housing (NYSAFAH).

Susan Maicovski

Chief Financial Officer

Susan Maicovski oversees all aspects of the accounting department in addition to maintaining relationships with banks, investors and auditors.  Prior to joining C+C, Ms. Maicovski spent 15 years with Houlihan Parnes Realtors, LLC where she used her public accounting expertise to reorganize all aspects of the accounting department, including the Property Management Division.  Ms. Maicovski was also involved in assisting brokers on the acquisitions, property oversight and dispositions of a substantial numbers of investments throughout the United States.  Prior to joining Houlihan Parnes, Ms. Maicovski was a Certified Public Accountant specializing in real estate management. She earned an MBA with distinction in business administration and accounting from Long Island University and a B.A., Cum Laude, from the College of Mt. St. Vincent in Riverdale, NY.

Nikki Wernick

Senior Vice President of Operations

Nikki was brought on board to oversee the leasing and marketing for C+C Apartment Management including New developments, Acquisitions, Existing Developments and lotteries. In addition to C+C’s own properties, her team is responsible for the lotteries and management for several 3rd party developers. Nikki’s considerable knowledge, expertise, and style has enabled her to assume broader responsibilities since her arrival at C+C. While Nikki continues to supervise the Marketing and Leasing department, she now oversees multiple departments critical to C+C’s operations in the business including Yardi, Compliance, and the Transition/Start up departments. As a native New Yorker, Nikki is well versed in NYC real estate. Nikki began her career as a real estate agent specializing in rentals in Manhattan. She quickly made her mark with her unique blend of NYC savvy and knack for developing relationships with landlords. After moving on to one of Manhattan’s largest brokerages she furthered her reputation as a rental agent and expanded into sales. She was then quickly entrusted with the management of two of their premier offices. Prior to joining C+C, Nikki was the Director of Leasing and Marketing at Peter Cooper Village/Stuyvesant Town, the largest rental property in the US, where she spent nine years. She exponentially increased revenue while bringing vacancy to a record low of less than 3% during her tenure. Nikki has appeared on Open House NYC on NBC, has been featured in AM New York as Residential Broker of the Week and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
